4. LIVE: Latest updates
Nintendo Switch 2 continues to be sold out across retailers, but restocks are on the way this week, giving you a chance to get your hands on this seriously popular hybrid console.
The Switch 2 is almost a month old, but the demand doesn’t appear to be slowing down. The console hasn’t been consistently in stock since launch, and while restocks are appearing across major retailers, it remains a console that’s frustratingly tricky to purchase in the U.S.
In a bit of good news, Best Buy restocked in-store this week (on July 1), and I’m hoping this is just the start of Switch 2 restocks this week. The likes of Walmart, Target and GameStop could also offer opportunities to score a Switch 2 over the next few days.
Meanwhile, in the U.K., the Switch 2 has been significantly easier to purchase with more frequent restocks that have often lasted several hours. The console is again sold out in the U.K., but could change soon, so watch this space if you’ve got a Switch 2 on your wishlist.
The Nintendo Switch 2 costs $449 / £395 standalone or $499 / £429 bundled with a copy of the popular launch game, Mario Kart World. Resellers are hoping to tempt impatient players to spend considerably more, but Tom’s Guide is here to help you secure one at retail price.
I’ve been tracking restocks for hard-to-buy gaming items for five years, and I’m putting all that expertise and experience to good use in this live blog to bring you the latest Switch 2 restock updates, and also give you easy access to all the retailer links you’ll need to buy.

Nintendo Switch 2 restocks: Full retailer listings
Walmart last restocked the Nintendo Switch 2 on Wednesday, June 25. The restock event was initially exclusive to Walmart Plus members, starting at 9 p.m. ET, before opening up to everyone at 10 p.m. ET. Stock has since run out.

Mario Kart Bundle: $499 @ Best Buy
Target last restocked the Switch 2 on Friday, June 6. This could mean the next drop is a little ways off as the retailer may need some time to build up its inventory again.
Mario Kart Bundle: $499 @ Target
GameStop is currently sold out of Switch 2 consoles. However, as a specialist video game retailer, we're expecting more stock to arrive shortly, so watch this space.
Mario Kart Bundle: $499 @ GameStop
After being absent from the Switch 2 pre-order phase, Amazon U.S. launched a Nintendo Switch 2 listing page last week. But in a very strange move, it's now taken it down again, so at present there are no signs of Switch 2 stock at Amazon U.S. Over in the U.K., the mega retailer has been stocking Switch 2 for weeks and restocked often.
My Nintendo Store is using an invite system to allocate its available Switch 2 stock. You will need to meet specific criteria, including having a Nintendo Switch Online account and then be selected and sent an invite to order the console.
Mario Kart Bundle: $499 @ Nintendo Store
Antonline's Switch 2 listings have a "coming soon" message. This could be a sign that the tech retailer is planning to restock the console in the near future, though that message has been there quite a while now, so it's a little puzzling.
Mario Kart Bundle: $499 @ Antonline
Newegg's Nintendo Switch 2 pages are live, but there's currently no stock. Newegg may restock the console soon, but nothing is confirmed yet, so this is another one to watch closely for now.
Mario Kart Bundle: $499 @ Newegg
Sam's Club has a listing page for the Nintendo Switch 2, which currently advises the console is "coming soon." This could be an indication that the retailer is planning to take Switch 2 orders in the near future, so be sure to watch this space.
Nintendo Switch 2 accessories

One of Switch 2's new features is GameChat, and to get the most out of this new addition you'll need a Nintendo Switch 2 Camera to video chat with your friends online.
Additional retailers: Best Buy | GameStop
The official Nintendo Switch 2 Camera is pretty dull, but this licensed third-party one from Hori is anything but. It's modeled after the iconic Piranha Planet from the Super Mario series and offers all the same features, plus you can close the Piranha's head to give yourself some privacy as needed. Huge caveat: it's resolution maxes out at 480p, whereas the Nintendo camera is 1080p.
Additional retailers: Best Buy
You don't need the Switch Joy-Con 2 Wheel to enjoy games like Mario Kart World, but it'll sure make the experience much more fun. You can get a set of two for just $24.

It's not the most exciting Switch 2 accessory, but should you need a spare AC adapter for your Switch to you can get one for $34. It connects directly to the Switch 2 Switch 2 dock.

Take your Switch 2 on the road with the official Switch 2 All-In-One Carrying Case. It's big enough so you can carry the Switch 2, Nintendo Switch 2 dock, Joy-Con 2 controllers, various cables, and up to six game cards.
Additional retailers: Best Buy | GameStop
The Switch 2 comes with an increased storage capacity of up to 2TB. However, the Switch 2 is only compatible with microSD Express cards, which means you'll need new storage cards for your console.

Cyberpunk 2077 on Switch 2 is the definitive way to enjoy CDPR's critically acclaimed first-person open-world RPG on the go. You play a mercenary named V, completing missions in the dark city of the future, Night City, though your main aim is surviving the chaos that surrounds you. This Ultimate Edition also includes the essential Phantom Liberty DLC expansion, which opens up a new area of the map, the ruthless Dogtown.

Donkey Kong Bananza will launch on July 17 and allow DK to smash his way through (and down into) the surrounding terrain. He can punch his way through mountains or head underground in search of collectibles. It's hands-down one of the Switch 2's biggest titles.

An enhanced edition of Kirby and the Forgotten Land will make its way to the Switch 2. It'll feature everything we loved about the original as well as some improvements like better graphical fidelity, HDR support, and frame rate improvements. The ever-adorable Kirby gets a bump from 30fps to 60fps and you can enjoy 1080p gameplay in handheld mode or 1440p when docked.

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is being ported over to the Switch 2. It promises improved visuals and performance. It also brings support for Zelda Notes, a game-specific service found in the Nintendo Switch app that's exclusive to the Switch 2. It brings voice-assisted navigation, voice memories, and item sharing.
Additional retailers: GameStop| Walmart
The original Switch's definitive launch game has returned for the Switch 2, and now it's been enhanced for Nintendo's new hardware. It's the masterpiece you (probably) know, but it looks and runs better than ever. If you've never played Breath of the Wild, there really isn't a better time to jump into Hyrule than via this Switch 2 Edition.

Our favorite TV deals for the Switch 2...
The 4th of July is almost here and if you need to a new TV for your Switch 2, now is the time to shop. There are 4th of July TV sales pretty much everywhere you turn and I've rounded up the best deals.
Not sure where to start? Tom's Guide TV reviewer/writer Ryan Epps has picked out his top 5 TVs for the Switch 2. Remember, the Switch 2 is set to support 4K resolution at 60fps via HDMI 2.0 — no HDMI 2.1 port needed.
Additionally, not every Switch 2 game will be capable of running at 4K/60fps let alone 1080p/120fps. So Ryan's picked out the TVs that pack all the specs you need so you don't overspend on unneeded features.
Keep your Switch 2 scratch-free...
Raise your hand if you hate installing screen protectors. If you want to keep your Switch 2's screen free of scratches and scuffs, you'll want the dbrand's Prism 2.0, which is a breeze to install. The innovative installment process is painless, even for an idiot like me.
Yes, it's pretty pricey compared to some of the other options available on the likes of Amazon, but when you're forking over $450 for a console, it's worth the extra investment for that peace of mind. You can get your own Prism 2.0 down below.
Prism 2.0 is the ultimate Nintendo Switch 2 screen protector. It comes with an "idiot proof" installation process, and is made from scratch-proof tempered glass. While it's comparatively pricey at $34, you do get two in the pack, and it's a worthwhile investment to ensure you Switch 2 remains protected when taking it on the go.

A quick US stock check
While the U.K. has been fortunate with Nintendo Switch 2 stock arriving in abundance, things are still looking quiet over here in the U.S. I checked every major retailer, and not a single one has Switch 2 consoles in stock.
I wish I had positive news to share, but alas, that's not the case.

Asking Gemini for Switch 2 shopping tips
If you haven't found a Switch 2 through our restock tracking efforts, you might be feeling a little desperate. To help you, I turned to Google's beloved AI tool, Gemini, to ask for some tips. It provided an incredibly detailed breakdown of various tips and tricks that could help increase your chances of success.
If you'd like to read the complete response, I've pasted it below; however, I'll highlight some of the best tips.
- Create Accounts
- Save Payment & Shipping Info
- Checkout Immediately
- Most online restocks happen on weekdays, often between 12 PM and 3 PM ET, or very early in the morning (e.g., 3-4 AM ET for some Target drops)
- Open Multiple Tabs
- Call Ahead / Visit Early
- Ask for Backroom Checks
You're smart to be proactive about getting a Switch 2! Restocks are still highly competitive, but with the right strategy, you can significantly increase your chances. Here are my top tips:
1. Prepare Your Accounts & Payment:
Create Accounts: Set up accounts with all major retailers known to carry the Switch 2: Best Buy, Walmart, Target, GameStop, Amazon, Newegg, Sam's Club, Costco, Antonline.
Save Payment & Shipping Info: This is CRITICAL. Have your credit card details, shipping address, and billing address pre-saved on each retailer's site. Every second counts. If you're using PayPal, make sure it's linked and ready to go.
Consider Retailer Memberships:
Walmart+: This is a big one. Walmart often gives Walmart+ members an hour's head start on online restocks. The cost (or a free trial) can be well worth it.
My Best Buy / Target Circle / GameStop Pro: While not always guaranteeing early access, these programs can sometimes offer perks or make the checkout process smoother.
2. Leverage Stock Trackers & Alerts:
Real-time Alerts: Sign up for email, push notifications, and/or Discord/Telegram alerts from dedicated stock tracking websites like:
NowInStock.net
TrackaLacker.com
Stock Informer
Dedicated Twitter Accounts: Many trackers have Twitter accounts that post instant alerts. Turn on notifications for these accounts.
YouTube Live Streams: Some content creators run 24/7 live streams that provide real-time alerts. These can be very helpful as a visual aid and for community chat.
Reddit Communities: Join subreddits like r/Switch2Stock, r/NintendoSwitch2. Users often post real-time sightings and tips.
3. Master Online Strategies:
Be Ready for the Drop: Most online restocks happen on weekdays, often between 12 PM and 3 PM ET, or very early in the morning (e.g., 3-4 AM ET for some Target drops).
Stay Logged In: Always be logged into your retailer accounts when actively hunting.
Open Multiple Tabs: Have the Switch 2 product page open in multiple tabs on different browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Edge) or devices (laptop, phone, tablet).
Refresh Smartly:
Don't over-refresh constantly; this can sometimes flag you as a bot.
Some retailers (like Best Buy) use a queuing system. If you see a queue, do not refresh the page; wait for the system to process.
Walmart sometimes releases stock in phases (e.g., every 10 minutes). If you miss one phase, keep trying for the next.
Click "Add to Cart" Relentlessly: The button might be grayed out or say "Out of Stock," but keep clicking. Sometimes, stock appears for a fraction of a second.
Checkout Immediately: If it goes into your cart, proceed to checkout INSTANTLY. Don't browse for accessories; you can buy those later. Items in carts are not guaranteed until payment is processed.
Consider Bundles: While more expensive, bundles (console + game + accessory) often stay in stock longer because scalpers find them harder to resell for pure profit. If you want the bundled items anyway, this can be a good strategy.
4. In-Store Tactics (Often Your Best Bet):
Call Ahead / Visit Early: This is crucial. Many retailers are prioritizing in-store sales to deter bots.
Call Your Local Store: Ask when they usually receive console shipments. Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays are common delivery days. Ask if they have any in stock or expect a drop soon. Be polite but persistent.
Visit at Opening: If you know a store is expecting stock, be there before opening. Lines can form quickly.
Check Local Inventory Online (with caution): Use retailer apps/websites to check local store stock. Be aware that online inventory isn't always real-time accurate; stock might show up online before it's physically available or vice-versa.
Third-Party Inventory Checkers: Tools like BrickSeek or PopFindr can sometimes provide more granular, near-real-time inventory data for local stores like Target and Walmart.
Ask for Backroom Checks: If the item isn't on the shelf but online tools suggest stock, politely ask an employee to check the backroom.
Be Flexible: Some stores might require you to purchase a bundle, or might only sell to first-come, first-served customers. Be prepared for different store policies.
5. Patience and Persistence:
Don't Give Up: It can be frustrating, but restocks are happening regularly. The demand is simply enormous.
Avoid Scalpers: Do not pay more than MSRP (Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price) to third-party sellers. This only encourages scalping. The console will eventually be widely available at its normal price.
Good luck with your hunt for the Switch 2! It takes dedication, but with these tips, you'll significantly increase your chances.
Switch 2 stock in U.K. still going strong
It's been well over an hour, and Switch 2 stock in the U.K. hasn't run dry yet! That means there's still plenty of Nintendo's latest console to go around, and it's great to see stock available at multiple retailers.
It's the same suspects we noted earlier, including Amazon, Currys, GAME, ShopTo and The Game Collection. No other retailers are jumping on the bandwagon currently (although there is a Click & Collect option available at Smyths), and it appears the Mario Kart World Switch 2 package has the most stock.
There's still a Switch 2-only edition at GAME, but there's now "less than 10 available." So if you want it at that base price, best pick one up.

Don't give in to these Switch 2 bundles
The U.K. may be seeing some strong restocks (they're still keeping up!), but the U.S. isn't seeing any luck at the moment. While there are Switch 2 bundles available over at Walmart, we don't recommend giving in to these. The Switch 2 starts at $449 and $499 for the Mario Kart World bundle, so anything over this (without proper extra accessories that make up the added price) isn't worth getting.
Many of the packages available at different retailers, including Walmart, sold through third parties only offer controller cover skins or screen protectors that are way overpriced. That includes this Switch 2 + Mario Kart World with a silicone controller skin for $714. That means you'd pay over $200 for...a controller skin.
More restocks will be coming eventually; it's just a matter of time. In the meantime, be sure to keep checking these retailers!

Where to grab a Switch 2 in the U.K. right now
The U.K. is currently having a field day with all the Switch 2 restocks coming in (no sign in the U.S. yet, I'm afraid), so if you've been waiting for your chance to pick up Nintendo's latest console, now is most certainly the time to do so.
There's the Switch 2 console, Mario Kart World Bundle and other packages with add-ons currently available, and you can find each at the retailers below. Be fast with the Switch-2 only edition, as that looks like it's selling out real soon.

Snag some headphones to go with your new Switch 2
I'm scanning retailer store shelves and not seeing much in the way of Nintendo Switch 2 stock, so we may be out of luck today.
However, if you're one of the lucky ones who managed to snag one already, there are lots of useful Switch 2 accessories available right now, including the Turtle Beach Airlite Fit headset.
I mention the Airlite Fit specifically because we just reviewed it ourselves and gave it our Editor's Choice award for its winning combination of affordability, comfort and functionality. So if you need a headset for online play, why not take a look at the Airline Fit?

Where to buy Street Fighter 6 for Switch 2
Yes, Mario Kart World and Donkey Kong Bananza are the Switch 2's biggest titles. Personally, I'd also like to add Street Fighter 6 to that list. I've been playing SF titles since I was a kid and SF6 is right up my alley. Here are all of the retailers where you can buy the game right now.
Street Fighter 6 Years 1-2 Fighters Edition will features 26 characters and 20 stages. You'll fight your way to the top with all new content and game modes exclusive to Nintendo Switch 2 like Local Wireless One on One and Avatar Matches.

Don't overpay for your Switch 2 case either

If you're still waiting on your Switch 2, you might have started pre-purchasing some essential accessories to go with your new console. Besides a microSD Express card, I guarantee you're going to want a carrying case as this is a handheld console after all.
Instead of paying $30-$45 for some of the more premium options out there, I actually went with the PowerA Slim Case for Nintendo Switch 2 for my own console. After all, I don't need anything as complex (or expensive) as Nintendo's own Switch 2 All-In-One Carrying Case just for playing in handheld mode.
At just $20, this more affordable option lets me slip my Switch 2 into a bag without having to worry about scratches to its screen or other accidental damage. Likewise, there are slots on the inside to store game cards and the middle section folds back to act as a stand.
PowerA Slim Case for Nintendo Switch 2: $20 at PowerA
Why pay more to protect your Switch 2 during transit? This slim case from PowerA keeps your Switch safe, stores up to ten game cards and has a built-in, fold-out stand.

Turn on those notifications
As it stands now, heading out to a physical Target or GameStop store is likely you're best bet to find a Nintendo Switch 2 console, as it's out of stock online at all of the big retailers.
If you'd prefer to buy your Switch 2 online instead of in store, here's a trick that could help. Besides frequently reloading this page which we're constantly updating, you may also want to sign up for notifications at various online retailers.
For instance, both Target and Sam's Club have a dedicated button just for this. On Target's site, the button reads "Notify me when it's back" right above "Add to cart". Meanwhile, on the Sam's Club website, it's a simple button with a bell and "Notify me" on the right side of the page.
When shopping for a Switch 2, the last thing you want to do is overpay by buying one from scalpers and these notifications and our live coverage are here to help you do just that.
A must-have accessory for Mario Kart World fans...
If you plan on spending hours playing Mario Kart World (and what Switch owner isn't), you may want to consider the Switch Joy-Con 2 Wheel. It makes it more fun to steer and it's just a $24 accessory. Here's some of the retailers where you can buy it right now.
You don't need the Switch Joy-Con 2 Wheel to enjoy games like Mario Kart World, but it'll sure make the experience much more fun. You can get a set of two for just $24.

Restock alert: Switch 2 at Currys (UK)
Good news if you're in the UK. Currys has stock of the Switch 2 Mario Kart World bundle. This is the bundle I'd personally get since it includes the Switch 2 with a game that's sure to keep you playing for weeks on end.
This is the only bundle I'm seeing at Currys at the moment, so if you're in the UK and looking for stock — don't wait on this too long.

Switch 2 stock now at ShopTo (UK)
More Switch 2 stock has arrived at ShopTo! And it's the Switch 2 Mario Kart World bundle that's up for grabs. The console-only version isn't available currently, so this is your best bet.
If it's anything like the John Lewis restock, this is expected to go out fast, so pick one up while it's still available!

John Lewis now out of stock
Well, that was fast. There was only limited stock available, so if you managed to get one, congrats! If not, don't fret, as this restock means there are sure to be more consoles on the way. It's just a matter of timing.
We've known the U.K. to have more supplies of the Switch 2 compared to the U.S., so it's worth giving these retailers a check when you can!

Switch 2 stock lands at John Lewis (UK)
The dry spell has ended! The Switch 2 is now in stock at John Lewis, but there's only limited stock so act fast.
Only the Switch 2 Mario Kart World bundle is currently available, and seeing as its the big launch games and it's less than getting the game by itself, this is one to jump on.

The one place to grab a Switch 2 right now
It's been a quiet day so far in the U.S. and U.K., with no restocks in sight. However, there is still one way to get a Nintendo Switch 2 if you're in the U.K., and I've yet to see it out of stock.
Over at EE, you can grab the Nintendo Switch 2 Mario Kart World bundle and a 12-month Nintendo Switch Online with Expansion Pack membership. This is based on monthly payments, though, which is £22 per month over two years. At least you'll only have to pay £20 today to pick it up.
If that works for you, you can swipe it right now! Otherwise, we'll keep you in the loop for any more restocks.

Your local Best Buy is your best bet right now
If you're eagerly on the hunt for a Nintendo Switch 2 in the U.S., your best opportunity at present is checking with your local Best Buy.
The electronics retailer restocked the Switch 2 console yesterday (July 1), but there was no availability online, it was in-store only. While I suspect the majority of units have been snapped up, there's always a chance your local might have limited inventory left.
Use the Best Buy store checker below to find your nearest local, if you don't know it already, and then it's worth seeing their stock levels just in case. If your local store is sold out, then stick with this live blog, and we'll flag the next restocks as they come.

It's a rare Switch 2 dry spell in the UK
One of the most consistent themes of the Nintendo Switch 2 restock period has been the pretty reliable availability of the console over in the U.K.
While it's been very tricky to get hold of a Switch 2 stateside, in the U.K., there's been an abundance of restocks with some of these not just lasting hours, but several days. However, we're currently in a rare dry spell with no major retailers having Switch 2 stock right now.
I expect that will change soon, and here are the links you need to check.

First Switch 2 stock sweep of the day!
Okay, so it's still extremely early in the U.S., so the odds of a Switch 2 restock at this hour are pretty slim, but there's always the chance a retailer could surprise with a drop.
I've checked through the listed retailers below, and I'm not seeing any signs of Switch 2 restock. But as noted, that isn't really a shock. However, if you want to check yourself then all the links you need a below. Otherwise, I'm keeping a watch out for signs of any restocks as we approach more normal working hours. I've got my fingers crossed.

Could we see an online Switch 2 restock today?
After yesterdays Best Buy in-store restock, I'm hoping today will see an online drop, I've got my eye in particular on Walmart and Target, as they feel like the most likely candidates to have Switch 2 stock soon. However, a restock could come from anywhere, so as always, I'm keeping tabs across retailers and will update this blog if the situation changes.
Best Buy might still have Nintendo Switch 2 hardware on hand, but act fast
Most of the Nintendo Switch 2 restocks and drops have come and gone today, but there's still time to potentially snag one if you're lucky!
That's because Best Buy had a big in-store restock of Switch 2 hardware today, so you might still be able to get your hands on one if you act fast.
If the base $450 Nintendo Switch 2 is sold out at your local Best Buy, consider splurging for the $500 Mario Kart World bundle if it's still in stock. A fair few of us have played it here at Tom's Guide and, as you can read in our Mario Kart World review, it's a lot of fun with friends and family.
And hey, if the Best Buy(s) in your area are already sold out of Switch 2 hardware, don't stress—I'm expecting more restocks all week long, and we'll be here to let you know about it!

Our full take on Mario Kart World...
Let's be honest: Mario Kart World is bound to be one of the games you play the most on your Switch. Tom's Guide entertainment editor Rory Mellon spent days with the game and in his Mario Kart World review he calls it another solid effort in Nintendo's enduring kart-racing series, with the fantastic Knockout Tour mode a highlight of the game.
"Mario Kart World powerslides onto Nintendo Switch 2 as the de facto launch game to play in the absence of much competition. It’s a vibrant and joyful racer, perfect for playing with friends and family (or against the world online), but not all the tweaks to the classic Mario Kart formula are successful, with the new open-world mode being particularly underwhelming."
Try before you buy
If you're on the fence about the Switch 2 or just want to try Nintendo's latest console before you buy, Nintendo and Best Buy are partnering with GameTruck to let you do just that.
Starting on Saturday, July 12th, you'll be able to play Switch 2 games like Mario Kart World across the U.S. at different Best Buy locations each weekend up until August 16th. You can check the full list of participating Best Buy stores to see if a GameTruck is coming to a location near you.
It's also worth noting that you can earn 100 My Nintendo Platinum Points and other goodies if you check in using your Nintendo account QR code.
While I haven't personally tried out GameTruck yet, the company has good reviews online and if you've been itching to try out the new Nintendo Switch 2, this could be the perfect opportunity to do so.
You can never be too careful
Getting a Nintendo Switch 2 at its retail price of $449 (or $499 with Mario Kart World) is likely why you're here in the first place. However, to avoid scalpers, you need to be careful even when you're shopping at official retailers like Walmart.
Case in point, while looking for Switch 2 consoles in stock online, I came across a third-party seller on Walmart that had the base console listed for $624.99 or $175 over its actual price. There are plenty of third-party sellers on Walmart's site selling items with a steep markup. However, what surprised me here is that I came across this listing after heading to the official Nintendo Switch 2 link on Walmart's site.
You see, once all of its own stock of an item has been depleted, Walmart's site begins recommending third-party sellers that still have a particular product available. This was likely done to make things easier for shoppers but when it comes to console restocks, it hurts more than it helps.
I know most of our readers will be well aware of the Switch 2's actual price but I just wanted to point this out for those who aren't. Likewise, if you know someone who's less tech savvy and is shopping for a Switch 2 for themselves or even for their kids, pass this knowledge on because the last thing you want is for someone you know to overpay for Nintendo's latest console.
Restock alert: Switch 2 at Very (UK)
Looks like a few new bundles just popped up at Very (UK). In addition to the bundles we saw in stock earlier, it looks like Very has two slightly cheaper bundles in stock for £479 and £494. The bundles include Mario Kart World and Street Fighter 6 or Tears of the Kingdom, respectively.
- Switch 2 + Mario Kart + 256GB Micro SD: £470 @ Very
- Switch 2 Mario Kart World + Street Fighter 6: £479 @ Very
- Switch 2 Mario Kart World + Zelda Tears of the Kingdom: £494 @ Very

Some Switch 2 accessories to consider...
The updated Switch 2 Pro Controller is hands-down our favorite Switch 2 peripheral. However, we've been testing other new accessories such as the Turtle Beach Rematch controller and the Turtle Beach Airlite Fit headset.
You can read the full reviews above, but in summary, we found both Turtle Beach accessories to be solid picks for Nintendo Switch 2 owners. We're particularly impressed with the Airlite Fit headset, giving it an Editor's Choice award and praising the colorful design and sound quality. Plus, it's a relative bargain at just $27.

Best Buy in-store restock in progress...
Greetings, everyone! Deals editor Louis back for another of Switch 2 tracking. So. Today is your day! If you're still on the hunt for Switch 2 restock, select Best Buy stores have consoles right now. You can check with stores are participating in today's restock via the store locator on Best Buy's website.
Here in New York it looks like a handful of Best Buy locations are eligible, but not every store has received consoles. My advice: make a list of stores near you that are participating and then try those stores in person. (You could also try calling a few stores to ask if they still have stock).

One Very bundle down, but 3 still in stock (UK)
Over in the U.K., the best place right now to get hold of a Nintendo Switch 2 is at Very, and while the retailer has now sold out of the bundle that includes Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, the other three are still in stock. Though Very lists them as up for pre-order with shipping expected on July 4, so you will have to wait just a couple of days.
- Switch 2 + Mario Kart + 256GB Micro SD: £470 @ Very

Switch 2 stock sweep - nothing to report right now
While you can currently head down to your local Best Buy and try your luck wit the retailer's in-store restock, which is happening right now, in terms of online restocks, there's nothing to report at present. I've checked all the major retailers and not see any signs of Switch 2 stock. Fingers crossed that chances soon, but for now, if you want a Switch 2 you're going to need to make the trek to a physical store, and I suggest doing so soon as Best Buy's across the country are starting to open, and stock will go fast!

The Nintendo and Amazon situation remains a mystery
For those wondering why Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo-published Switch 2 games aren't available on Amazon, the situation remains a puzzling mystery.
After yesterday's report from Bloomberg that Nintendo opted to pull its products from Amazon in response to the retailer's integration of third-party sellers, a spokesperson for Nintendo has denied the report, telling Bloomberg “There is no such fact. We do not disclose details of negotiations or contracts with retailers.” (as reported by VGC).
Amazon's own spokesperson echoed this. "The claims made by Bloomberg regarding our relationship with Nintendo are inaccurate," said the online mega retailer.
So, at this stage, we really don't know why Amazon U.S. isn't listing the Nintendo Switch 2, but it seems that if you're hoping to pick up a Nintendo console or new games via the online retailer, you might want to consider alternative options.
Best Buy is restocking Switch 2 in-store today!
Best Buy has confirmed it's restocking Nintendo Switch 2 today (Tuesday, July 1). However, this will be an in-store restock, so there won't be any units available online. You'll need to get yourself over to your nearest Best Buy store if you want to buy one.
The retailer has confirmed the Switch 2 will be available during "regular store hours," rather than being held for a specific slot (such as a midnight opening), so be sure to check the opening times of your nearest Best Buy before making your way over.
You can use the store locator to find your closest Buy Buy, and for shoppers who prefer to buy a Switch 2 online, stick with this live blog for updates on future online restocks.
Switch 2 stock at Very in the U.K., but with a (small) catch
Folks in the U.K. can still pick up a Nintendo Switch 2 at Very, but there are a couple of things to note about this particular restock.
For starters, the retailer is only selling the Switch 2 in bundles, starting from £479 and going as high as £555. But at least all the packages contain official Nintendo accessories. The other caveat is that these are technically pre-orders with Very expecting to deliver your Nintendo Switch 2 starting from Friday, July 4.
So, while you will have to wait a couple of days before shipping, at least you should have yourself a Switch 2 console by the weekend. Here are the links you need to buy.
- Switch 2 + Mario Kart + 256GB Micro SD: £470 @ Very
- Switch 2 + Mario Kart + Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom: £494 @ Very

Another day of Switch 2 restock tracking with a confirmed drop
Good morning! Welcome to U.K. folk getting their day underway, and U.S. readers already awake at a very early hour. I'm jumping back on the Switch 2 restock tracking grind, and the good news is that today we have a confirmed drop over at Best Buy.
This will be an in-store only restock event, so you'll need to head down to your local Best Buy as close to opening as you can. While some larger locations may have a decent level of stock, it's still likely that the majority of available units will be snapped up pretty quickly.
Best Buy reminder + a retailer sweep
One last reminder, Best Buy has announced that you will be able to purchase a Switch 2 in store tomorrow (July 1) as long as supplies last. The company will not be offering any online.
To see if there's a store near you with consoles go to BestBuy.com to see what's available.
Finally, one final sweep of the retailers for the day, but as expected, nothing new popped up.

A potential answer for why Amazon isn't selling Switch 2 consoles
Since the Switch 2 launched, we've been tracking where it's available, but surprisingly the console and its accessories have not been for sale via Amazon, one of the largest retailers in the world.
It was rumored that Nintendo was upset with Amazon and a new Bloomberg report seems to confirm that.
According to the article, Nintendo removed its products from Amazon US over disagreements on unauthorized sales via third-party merchants.
These sellers were undercutting Nintendo prices and in some cases buying in bulk elsewhere and then sending to the US.
However, both companies release statements denying the report or admitting to disagreements.
“There is no such fact. We do not disclose details of negotiations or contracts with retailers,” a Nintendo spokesperson e-mailed Bloomberg.
Amazon called the report inaccurate.
Meanwhile, the Switch 2 hasn't appeared on Amazon US, but games like Donkey Kong Bananza are showing up.
Retailer sweep: All quiet for now...
It's been somewhat of a quiet day for Switch 2 restock, but that's all going to change tomorrow. Best Buy is promising in-store Switch 2 stock. Make sure to tune into our live blog should any inventory make its way online.
In the meantime, I just did a thorough retailer sweep and there's nothing available as of now.

Where to pre-order Donkey Kong Bananza for Switch 2
July is upon us and one of Nintendo's biggest titles is slated to debut on July 17. I'm talking about Donkey Kong Bananza — a game so anticipated that our own Tony Polanco said it's the title that made him get a Switch 2.
The new game has a sprawling environment giving you the ability to explore vast terrains as Donkey Kong. And the levels aren't just wide, but also deep — literally. Donkey Kong can punch through the ground and end up in caverns or other underground areas. This broadens exploration since you're not limited to a single plane.
Here's where you can pre-order one of the Switch 2's biggest titles.
Donkey Kong Bananza will launch on July 17 and allow DK to smash his way through (and down into) the surrounding terrain. He can punch his way through mountains or head underground in search of collectibles. It's hands-down one of the Switch 2's biggest titles.

Don't forget your Switch 2 Pro controller
Quick question! What's the first Switch 2 accessory you should buy? None other than the Switch 2 Pro Controller. This controller is a real show-stealer and remains one of the best controllers on the market.
The V2 upgrade looks every bit as good, if not better, than the original. It's the main accessory we'd buy for our Switch 2 console.
The Nintendo Switch 2 Pro Controller is practically guaranteed to be the most in-demand Switch 2 accessory, and it packs a suitable upgrade over its predecessor adding a headphone jack, the new "C" button, and customizable back buttons.

Happy Monday, all! Deals EIC Louis back for a new week of Switch 2 restocks.
If you're reading this, you've probably already made up your mind on buying a Switch 2. However, I still recommend checking out our Nintendo Switch 2 review. We list the good, the bad, and everything in between.
Tom's Guide senior entertainment editor Rory Mellon says, "Nintendo Switch 2 takes what worked about its best-selling predecessor and makes impactful upgrades across the board. From the excellent, and noticeably larger, 7.9-inch display to the more powerful internal specs, Switch 2 is a full leap forward, and the best hybrid console you can buy."

I've checked all the U.S. retailers, and unfortunately, none of them have Switch 2 consoles in stock. While we're still preparing for the in-store Best Buy restock tomorrow, it doesn't seem any of the other major retailers are making any Switch 2 console-related moves.

Free $50 eShop card at Target
If you pre-ordered a Nintendo Switch 2 from Target and didn't get it on time, the retailer is hooking you up with a $50 Nintendo eShop gift card (via @LeBlorstOfTimes on X). While not quite enough to purchase an AAA game in today's market, it's free money you can use to help pay for a game.
To receive the gift card, you must have received a Switch 2 late from a Target pre-order and be a Target Circle member. If you're eligible, you'll see the option to get a gift card on your Target Circle page.
Reminder: Best Buy stock in-store tomorrow
Don't forget, Best Buy's upcoming July 1 restock will require you to visit your local Best Buy to obtain a Switch 2. There will be no consoles available (except those sold by scalpers who visit the stores), so be sure you're prepared to take the necessary steps to secure a console.
Visit BestBuy.com to check if the store closest to you has consoles available, or if you'll need to travel a little further to find one.
Another Switch 2 bundle at The Game Collection (UK)
And now there's another Nintendo Switch 2 bundle available over at The Game Collection, but this one is down to limited stock.
This comes with a Nintendo Switch 2 console, an official case and screen protector, Cyberpunk 2077: Ultimate Edition and a 256GB MicroSD card. That's all for £534, and if those are the extras you're after (and you don't mind not having Mario Kart World included), then you'd better act fast — there are only a few left in stock right now.

Switch 2 stock going strong at My Nintendo Store and Very (UK)
It's been over an hour, but Nintendo Switch 2 stock at My Nintendo Store and bundles at Very are still up for grabs, which is a good sign that there's plenty to go around.
If you've been waiting for a Switch 2 in the U.K., now's a great time to swipe one yourself. Better yet, there's a few options out there, including just the console itself, the Mario Kart World bundle, and the extras that include the Switch 2 Pro Controller, Camera and 256GB MicroSD card.
Take your pick and add it to your basket!

Stock check: Still quiet in the US (for now)
The U.K. is off to a great start this week thanks to restocks, but so far, there's no movement in the U.S. just yet. We know a big Nintendo Switch 2 restock will drop tomorrow (Tuesday, July 1) at Best Buy, but we may see more of Nintendo's latest console available in the meantime.
While not available for shipping, Walmart appears to have Nintendo Switch 2s available for pickup, so it's worth checking if one is available at a store near you. Otherwise, we'll keep you up to date on the latest.

Switch 2 bundles arrive at Very (UK)
Even more Switch 2 stock has arrived at Very, but this time they come with some extras. There are two bundles currently available (and trending according to the retailer), but both deliver the Mario Kart World edition.
There's one that comes with a Nintendo Switch 2 Pro Controller and the Switch 2 Camera for £555, while the other also includes the Switch 2 Pro Controller but with a 256GB MicroSD card for £553. They also come with 12 months of free repair insurance, although it's £2.49 per month after (you can opt for no insurance, of course).
I've done the math, and all the extras add up. However, it appears you're getting a better deal with the 256GB MicroSD card, if only by a couple of pounds. Either way, if these add-ons suit your fancy, then they're available to pick up now!

ICYMI: Best Buy is restocking Switch 2 this week
Typically, on a Monday morning, there's little to report in the world of Switch 2 restocks, but this week, we've already got a drop confirmed, and it comes via Best Buy.
The electronics retailer has confirmed that it will restock Nintendo Switch 2 on Tuesday, July 1. However, this will be an in-store restock, so there won't be any units available online. For this one, you're going to need to trek over to your nearest store.
Best Buy has also announced there won't be units available at midnight like on Switch 2 launch day, instead it will be operating under "regular store hours," but I expect all the stock will get snapped up very quickly, so you might want to arrive at opening.
You can use the store locator to find your closest Buy Buy, and for shoppers who prefer to buy a Switch 2 online, stick with this live blog for updates on future online restocks.
Welcome!
It's the start of a new week, and that means more chances to secure a Switch 2 on the horizon. We already know that Best Buy will be restocking the in-demand console this week (on Tuesday, July 1), and I'm hoping that's just the start of a wave of restocks. In this live blog, I'll be flagging all the latest restock news and updates so follow along.
