Waiting to stream "Captain America: Brave New World"? Well, we don't have a Disney Plus release date just yet, but we do know when you'll be able to watch it at home via Premium Video-on-Demand (PVOD) services.
The first reactions to "Captain America: Brave New World" were positive, but as more reviews poured in, it became pretty clear that Sam Wilson's latest MCU outing didn't land with moviegoers.
As of our latest update, the movie has a 48% critics' rating on Rotten Tomatoes, making it one of the lowest-rated Marvel movies on the platform to date.
With that less-than-stellar reputation, I wouldn't be surprised if many would-be viewers skipped "Captain America: Brave New World" in theaters altogether.
With that in mind, here's what you need to know about the "Captain America: Brave New World" streaming date (it's available to watch at home now!), along with our best guess at when the latest Marvel movie might come to Disney Plus.
When will 'Captain America: Brave New World' come to Disney Plus?
As of our latest update, "Captain America: Brave New World" still doesn't have a Disney Plus streaming date, but you can watch from the comfort of your own home.
"Captain America 4" came to Premium Video-on-Demand (PVOD) platforms like Amazon on Tuesday, April 15.
If you don't want to buy/rent it, though, I'd wager you probably won't have to wait too much longer before a Disney Plus release.
We think that "Captain America: Brave New World" will likely be available to watch on Disney Plus on (or around) May 14.
That guess is based on the fact that Marvel's 2023 features — "Quantumania", "The Marvels" and "Guardians of the Galaxy 3" — all took 89 days to come to the Disney streaming service, from their theatrical release.
The wait for 2024's only MCU movie outing, "Deadpool & Wolverine", was a little longer (109 days), but given it was one of the House of Mouse's $1 billion+ box office successes of 2024, that longer wait seems unlikely here.
Admittedly, I feel like we'd maybe know by now whether that guess was indeed accurate, as we're in May now, and the movie was not part of Disney's listings for May 2025. As ever, when we get an official answer, we'll be sure to share it, so keep checking back.
